If you want to progress your archery what could be better than to undertake the 252 programme.

The programme works on achieving a set score on three occasions at set distances.  Once you have achieved the score at the set distance (and your score has been verified) you can then move out to the next distance.

All distances are shot in yards,

Junior distances are 10, 15, 20, 30 and 40 yards.

Senior distances are 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 yards.

There is nothing to stop a junior archer from going on to complete all distances at the 252 if they wish.

Colour badges and stickers are awarded in recognition of achieving the three scores per distance.  If you wish to participate or want more information please speak to Ursula Hawke who is running the scheme, or to any other BAC coach.

The scheme is open to all bow types and the required scores for each distance are:

100 for longbow

220 for barebow

252 for recurve

260 for crossbow

280 for compound
