If you live in the Bournemouth area and would like to try, Bournemouth Archery Club run Beginners courses each year, giving people interested in archery a good idea of what the basic skills and knowledge are.

It is a governing body (AGB) stipulated course, run by a qualified coaching team.  Following successful completion of the course, requests to join the club are welcomed subject to membership places being available. Please note that successful completion of a Beginners course (or similar) is a pre-requisite for those wishing to become members of the club. We also have a small team of qualified coaches that can assist members to improve their archery skills.
