BAC Shooting Locations for Events Season

16TH APRIL –  MOVED TO CRICKET 1.

 

28TH APRIL

University Lacrosse match on right side C1 from 1pm-5pm – extra vigilance required re players chasing ‘lost ‘ balls etc.

 

5TH & 6TH MAY

R & T Football Tournament. The sports club will be very busy this weekend and car parking may be difficult. Overspill car park will be available on ‘horse field’ at front of the sports club.

 

7TH MAY

Bouncy Bank Holiday’ event – again the sports club will be busy and car parking may be difficult. Extra vigilance will be necessary.

 

8TH MAY 

MOVE TO FOOTBALL 1 & 2 

In readiness for setting up for Rugby 7s Festival. These are located at the end of the track going past the Astro pitches down towards our summer clubhouse.

 

9TH MAY

Varsity University Activities Day. – No shooting available all day

 

13TH MAY

Football Matches on Football 1 – No shooting available all day.

 

21STMAY to 23RD MAY

MOVE TO FOOTBALL 10/UTILITY to allow for setting up for Bournemouth 7s Festival. This is located at the far left hand corner of the site – access via the track leading down from the car park near Cricket 2.

N.B. Shooting is only available from midday on these dates to allow the groundsmen to undertake work re the Rugby 7s. Your co-operation in this respect is necessary when using this field for shooting. If the groundsmen or event team are working you must not shoot! They will try to complete the necessary work as quickly as possible.

 

24THMAY – 1ST JUNE

NO SHOOTING AVAILABLE – BOURNEMOUTH (RUGBY) 7s FESTIVAL

N.B. Please note that care is needed during 21st May to 2ndJune when visiting the sports club as heavy lorries may be on site re setting up and clearing away.

Shooting will resume on Mini Rugby on the evening of Friday 1st June (after 6pm) to allow for clearing the site after the Rugby 7s.

 

2NDJUNE

Uni Ball on Football 2, 3, 4 & 5.

Shooting available on Mini Rugby until 2.00pm. N.B. Take care re heavy lorries on site – the sports club will be very busy from early evening with many students attending the Ball.

Archery remains on Mini Rugby until end of summer season (end of August).

 

N.B. Details of any changes to shooting times/dates/locations will be advised to members via the website and in the club container/building. Be assured that we will endeavour to keep all changes to a minimum. Please note that our heavy equipment will be moved for us during these periods to minimise disruption. Please continue to display your car stickers to ease access to the grounds at busy times. If you need a sticker please contact Phil Clarke or any committee member.
